This Privacy Policy explains what information SecretHeat ("we", "us", "the platform") collects when you use our website and app, how we use it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using SecretHeat, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

We collect information in a few different ways:

• Account information — your username, email address, password (stored encrypted, never in plain text), and profile details you choose to add such as a bio, avatar, or cover photo.
• Wallet and transaction information — your coin balance, gift history, deposit requests, and any payment proof screenshots you upload when topping up your wallet via a supported payment method.
• Streaming and activity data — streams you host or watch, chat messages sent during a live stream, gifts sent or received, viewer counts, and how long you spend watching a stream.
• Device and technical information — IP address, browser type, and similar technical data collected automatically, used for security, fraud prevention, and keeping the service running reliably.
• Camera and microphone — if you go live, your browser will ask permission to access your camera and microphone. This is used solely to broadcast your stream and is never recorded or stored by us beyond what's needed to deliver the live video to your viewers.

2. How we use your information

• To operate your account, wallet, and streaming features.
• To process coin deposits — including reviewing payment proof you submit and crediting your wallet once a deposit is confirmed.
• To calculate and pay out creator earnings from gifts received.
• To send you account-related notifications (e.g. deposit approved/declined, gifts received, level-ups).
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our terms.
• To improve the reliability and safety of the platform.

3. Payment proof and deposit review

SecretHeat's coin top-up flow works by manual review: you pay via a QR code or account details we provide, then optionally upload a screenshot as proof of payment. That screenshot, along with the deposit amount and package you selected, is stored and reviewed by our team to confirm and credit your deposit. We do not store your full banking or card details — you pay directly through your own banking or payment app, outside of SecretHeat.

4. Who can see your information

• Your username, avatar, and public activity (streams, gifts sent/received, live status) are visible to other users as part of normal use of the platform.
• Chat messages sent in a live stream are visible to everyone currently watching that stream.
• Payment proof screenshots and deposit details are only visible to our review team, never to other users.
• We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Data retention

We keep your account and transaction data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as required for financial recordkeeping, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. You can request deletion of your account by contacting support — some transaction records may be retained where we're legally required to keep them.

6. Your choices

• You can update your profile information at any time from your profile page.
• You can control camera/microphone permissions from your browser settings.
• You can request a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account, by contacting support.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical measures — including encrypted password storage and access controls on our systems — to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's privacy

SecretHeat is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor is using the platform, please contact us so we can investigate.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in-app.
